Did you know the best way to improve your reading is to read everyday? Words are a part of our lives and can be found everywhere, from the tags in your clothes to a billboard in the sky.

 Here is how you can “Soar with the Irving Eagles” this summer. Are you up to the challenge?

-Post the attached calendars in a safe and visible place in your house.

-Every morning when you wake up read the task for the day on the calendar.

-Cross off each day that you complete.

-Ask a parent or guardian to sign their initials in the lower right hand corner of that day.

-Each month complete as many reading activities as you can.

-When we return to school in August please bring your calendars to Mrs. Chinn.

All students who participate in this school wide summer reading incentive will earn a special prize in the fall.
