Welcome to the Bowdoinham Snowbirds website! We hope this will become a useful source of information about club activities, trail conditions, and more! Check in and check often - and please let us know if you have any feedback or suggestions on how we can improve.
There is a slight chill in the evening air, which can only tell us one thing - winter is coming soon! Our monthly meetings have started, but we are doing things a little differently than in the past. Meetings will still be the third Wednesday of every month, but the locations are to be determined as we cannot meet at the Bowdoinham Fire Station and provide proper social distancing for a group of our size. We are also in the process of looking into remote broadcasting of our meetings for those who prefer to tune in from home. Our next meeting is Wednesday, October 21st at 7pm.
Trail work will start up on Sunday, October 4th - meet at the Town Landing at 8am. Many hands make for short work!
Anyone who is interested in spending some time with a good group of people while improving the trails, please consider joining the club! We’re always having fun building bridges, clearing brush, setting field stakes, and grooming trails. It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors, spend time with a good bunch of people, but stay socially distant all at the same time! We also have club rides, winter cookouts by the Bay, and an annual club trip up north! New members are always welcome!
