Get to Know You Challenge
Background:
Have you ever been asked to describe or introduce yourself? Probably at some point in the past and maybe even in another class today. How about in less than a minute? Definitely a little more difficult as you have to be concise while still maintaining all the important facts and information. Now, how about if I asked you to describe and introduce yourself without speaking?
Procedure:
In Advance Biology we will be using computers for practically the entire course; this will be 95% paperless course. Today you will create a short animated video to introduce yourself. You will have 20 minutes to create your video and then share it with your table group. Please don’t share until directed to do so.
Things to include in your video:
- Your name
- What middle school you attended
- How many pets or siblings you have
- What you like to do outside of school
- Your favorite food
- One cool thing you did this summer
