Housing Information for Summer Conferences
Haines Hall was designed by Rose Bowl architect Myron Hunt. The Spanish revival style structure retains its original 1940s architectural character, with its tiled roof, graceful arches, and charming lounge area. Guest rooms feature hardwood floors and sinks. Haines Hall is located near dining, classroom and meeting facilities.
Each guest room is furnished with one dresser, desk, and chair per bed. Beds are California Long Twin size (suitable for one person) unless otherwise noted.
Guest rooms have hardwood floors. Lobby, lounge areas and hallways are carpeted.
Haines Hall has one lounge area, which furnished with many easy chairs and sofas. Laundry facilities are located in the lower level.
Smoking is prohibited in all facilities, including residence halls, at Occidental College.
