Yom Yerushalayim Shabbat Lunch and Learn, May 20    Join in a special celebration in honor of the 50th anniversary of Yom Yerushalayim.  The program will feature a Dvar Torah by Rabbi Sharon Shalom followed by a sponsored luncheon and a selection of talks on Yerushalayim by Reuven Cohn, Deb Kram, Claudia Marbach, and Avi Rockoff. The event is sponsored by Sheila and Lee Mondshein on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.

We welcome new and past participants to say, "Amen" and share together our individual gratitude and deepest wishes for full lives for ourselves and our loved ones, as we bless various symbolic foods. Yom Yerushalayim 50th Anniversary Community Event, Beth El, Tuesday evening, May 23, co sponsored by Shaarei.  The guest speaker will be Rabbi Steven Weil, Senior Managing Director of the OU, who will speak on "The 50th Anniversary of the Event That Changed Jewish Destiny: An Analysis of the Six Day War".  7:00 PM Yom Yerushalayim Family Fair - activities for children and their parents and light refreshments, 7:45 PM Minchah, 8:00 PM Guest Speaker, 8:45 PM Maariv.

Red Sox vs. Phillies - Fourth Annual Jewish Heritage Night at Fenway Park, Tuesday, June 13, 7:10 PM  For the first 20 Shaarei tickets, you will receive a free Red Sox Cap written in Hebrew.  **INCLUSION**

On May 12-13, Shaarei will once again host about 25 guests from Yachad, along with their advisors and several Yachad staff members.  The Yachad guests will be included in our regular Shabbat program to the greatest extent possible, with the guidance of their personal advisors.  

 

We will have a lively Carlebach style davening on Friday night.  You're welcome to join in the fun!
