Any student with a sincere interest in animal-related careers and would like to shadow a zookeeper, be able to tour animal areas and talk with keepers and aquarists, should stop by the counseling office to sign-up for this job shadow experience. Positions are filling up fast. First come, first served. Or, if you are interested in working at the Pittsburgh Zoo for the summer, you should stop by the counseling office for more information.
Attention seniors: Applications for the “Cyberbullying Prevention for Teens Scholarship” are now available on Naviance. Applicants must be high school seniors and submit an essay. The scholarship amount is $1,000.00, deadline is February 28th.
This past weekend the Upper St. Clair High School Dance Team traveled to compete in the 2017 Jamfest Super Nationals.
In the junior solo category, Jess Quiroga finished 6th, Peyton Ciesco 3rd, and Anna Dipasquale 2nd.
In the senior solo category, Emma Artnah finished 5th and Faley Bulazo finished 2nd.
The team placed first on both days becoming Varsity Jazz National Champions. The “sweet 16” finished the season undefeated.
Over the weekend, the Indoor Track & Field competed at Edinboro at the Tri-State Championships.

Saturday USC Indoor Track and Field had the best finish in school history at this championship event. Both teams finished in the top 6 overall out of over 40 teams.
A special congrats to Harvey Kane, Jane Madson, and Savannah Shaw who have advanced to the state championships.
