Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe

3 boneless skinless chicken breasts; cooked and diced

chicken broth

half n half

fresh carrots, cut

celery; cut

whole wheat egg noodles

onion (or onion flakes, which is what I use-lots of them)

sweet peas

half can of cream of chicken

half can of cream of celery



garlic powder

a dash of curry powder

lots of salt and pepper

Boil the chicken breasts. Set aside to cool. Pour chicken broth, add a little water also, half n half, carrots, celery, cream of chicken, cream of celery, and onion flakes into pot. Let that warm up a bit (I always put it on medium), then peel chicken into small strips and add to pot. Add noodles. Then add the basil, parsley, curry, salt and pepper. Let that cook for about 10 minutes or until noodles are ready. Reduce heat and let that simmer for a bit. Then add the peas and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Oh, and just a little tid bit about me. I never measure anything. So, season as you like or see fit. Because it’s the right thing to do. :)
