Output is any form of device or application in which allows the user some form of visual, audio, or text form. There is Output Devices like a desktop monitor and there is application outputs like iTunes which can play and show your media in an organized matter showing album covers for categories. Another example is the different types of printers which use different methods to create outputs.

Laser Printers is high speed, high-quality non impact printer. Laser printers are able to be in black and whit or color. The price of laser computers range in price from few hundred dollars to a couple thousand dollars. The memory can range from 1 GB to 80 GB. Some times laser printers may be called page printers.

Data Projectors are devices that take images from a computer screen and projects them onto a larger screen for an audience.  They are mostly used in classrooms. An interactive whiteboard looks like a dry erase board but it is connected to a computer screen and displays the images on the screen. It can be drawn on with a special pen and then saved on the computer. Tactile feedback is used in games and simulations.  It provides feedback by creating resistance in the controller, and example is in a flight simulation it simulates g force by making it harder to move the joystick around.

A plasma monitor sandwiches gas between two glass plates.  When voltage is applied the gas releases UV light, which causes the pixels to glow and form images.  Plasma offers a better picture but costs more money and the screen sizes go up to 150 inches.  LCD stands  for Liquid Crystal Display, it uses a liquid compound to display information.  LCD uses liquid cells, when a charge flows through them it causes them to twist, this twisting allows for some light to be blocked and some to flow through, creating images.  The quality of LCD depends on the resolution, which is the number of horizontal and vertical pixels in the device. The more pixels the sharper and smoother the image becomes
