Chickpea Brownies/Cake

Other time: 20-40 minutes to cook

Serves: A lot

Ingredients:

2 cups cooked chickpeas (or 1 can chickpeas)

4 eggs

1 cup brown sugar

1 tsp baking powder

2 tsp vanilla extract

3 Tbls cocoa powder

⅔ cup melted parve chocolate

optional: ground pecans

Method:

  1. Grind chickpeas in food processor.
  2. Add ingredients to the food processor in the order above, except for pecan.
  3. Add half the pecan (if using).
  4. Pour into a 9x13 or similar, sprinkle other half of pecans on top.
  5. Bake in the oven at 360 degrees F for about 40 minutes.

Note:

It didn’t take me 40 minutes to cook these, so keep your eye out after 20 minutes!
