~25 users per day. Spike when we made the blog post about working group summary. About 10% of people reading working group summary are staying on the site.

Themes & Skins

Emilie asked around at the Wikimedia conference. May have somebody to help

4.3

General comms observations from Charlotte

Documentation on JOSM & Potlatch doesn’t work well on a wiki.

Too geeky. Too many assumptions about knowledge

Other observations about editors.

New beginners guide? Encourage individuals to do it.

Get buy in from Beginners Guide contributors for a change to a new approach

4.4

Translations on the blog

Harry set up a test wordpress site which includes a translations plugin:

http://harrywood.dev.openstreetmap.org/blog.osmfoundation.org

works well.

Harry will ask Grant to install this on the live site. We’ll try to get some translations happening. We can provision new people with accounts to great translated content. See how well that works.

4.5

OSMF site content. Contact page and “welcome” page

Hurricane & Richard chatted about it briefly.  By “welcome” page we’re talking about the main homepage of osmfoundation.org

The German welcome page as drafted by Jonas, is a great start.

Perhaps adding a section for press contacts and for business interests in OSMF will be helpful.
