Homemade Microwave Chips
from Tried and True Cooking with Heidi
2-3 potatoes
cooking spray
salt & pepper
Remove the glass tray from the bottom of your microwave oven (most are circular and rotate) and clean well with soap and water. Spray entire surface of tray with cooking spray. Very thinly slice potatoes (as thin and even as possible...thin enough to see through) and arrange them completely covering the glass tray. Sprinkle potatoes with a salt and pepper. Lightly spray the top of potatoes with cooking spray. Place in microwave and heat until the chips are lightly browned and crispy (could be anywhere from 6 to 13 minutes). Remove quickly so they don't stick and enjoy with your favorite dip, salsa or plain.
