My name is Angela (Angie) Marion. I am the creator and owner of A Simple Kinda Life. I am a single parent who also works as a Government Contractor full time. I have three children, Bethany, Sebastian, and Ravyn. I love to share our lives with my readers, as well as things that interest me. Whether it be socially-conscious issues to sweepstakes, I share it all on my blog!
Benefits to Companies and Advertisers:
My focus of this blog is to share my life as a single mother, as well as my trials and tribulations of being a parent of a Special Needs (ADHD) child. I also share reviews and giveaways on my blog.
My blog is an informational site for the most part. I share photos and I just got started into vlogging. I have run polls and tried to share topics that I find interesting and engaging. I believe my readers come to my blog for the wealth of information I share.
I’ve been featured on Sweetie’s Sweeps (http://www.sweetiessweeps.com), Extraordinary Mothers (http://www.extraordinarymothers.com), Murray Newlands (http://www.murraynewlands.com/2009/12/angie-marion-a-simple-kind-of-life-blogger-interview/), and on the Growing Tree Toys Network Blog (http://blog.growingtreetoys.com/blogger-of-the-week-a-simple-kinda-life). To date, I have not been involved in any media appearances. I belong to Team Mom, One 2 One Network, Global Influence Network, TypeAMom.net, Blog Friendly PR, Mommy PR, My Blog Spark, Blog Friendly PR, Buzz Cooperative, Family Review Network, The Product Review Place, and I’m on the Mom Central Blog Roll. I’m also a Purex Insider and a MomFuse Pop Blogger (contact me for more information on that). I also write for the Baltimore edition of the Examiner.com as the Frugal Family Examiner (http://www.examiner.com/x-18501-Baltimore-Frugal-Family-Examiner).

Do you want a press release to be published, or would you like your site to be featured on A Simple Kinda Life? I will publish a feature or press release for a fee of $25. This will include 300 words with 4 anchored text links back to the appropriate site(s). I reserve the right to refuse any advertisements that may be offensive in nature to my audience.
If you’d like to give away a product on my blog without providing a sample, a $10.00 fee will be charged. This is because of the amount of time that postings require, as well as time to promote the giveaway on various sites. We ask that the sponsor ships prizes directly to the winner(s) at the close of the giveaway. If the item is small enough to be mailed in a business-size envelope, I will be happy to assist in shipping.
Updated July 2010
I am currently seeking sponsorship for two blogging events this year. One is BlogHer 2010, which is held in New York City on August 6th & 7th. I am also interested in attending Type A Mom Conference (http://typeamomconference.com/), which will be held September 23-26th in Asheville, NC.
What Can I Do for You as a Sponsor for an event?
I can pass out your business card, wear your T-shirt, write 2 blog posts before and after each conference to highlight your company, as well as provide 6 months premium ad space for free.
Email me to discuss sponsorship!
