This year the Grass Seeds faculty will be local favorites, The High 48‘s plus young fiddler, Catie Jo Pidel. Everyone loved them so much last year, we asked them back. Catie Jo will return as an additional fiddle teacher. Multi instrumentalist Chuck Millar from No Grass Limit will be teaching GS2. The energy and enthusiasm of these two is incredible and infectious, they are perfect for this group. Instruction is offered on fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass and dobro in both groups.

BLUEGRASS JAM CAMP WITH CHRIS JONES & THE NIGHTDRIVERS
Tue-Thur August 7th through 9th, Just prior to the MBOTMA Festival
Chris Jones & The Nightdrivers will be the bluegrass faculty for the 2012 pre-festival bluegrass jamcamp at the Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Festival at El Rancho Mañana near Richmond MN. Chris Jones (guitar), Ned Luberecki (banjo), Mark Stoffel (mandolin), and Jon Weisberger (bass) will host this three-day bluegrass instructional camp for intermediate to advanced players. Chuck Millar from No Grass Limit will join them as fiddle instructor. This is a great way to start a great festival weekend, and will include individual instrument instruction plus group playing and harmony singing dynamics. Camp begins on Tuesday August 7th (6PM) through Thursday August 9th, 2012. $95 registration fee before July 15th, $120 after that date.
