How to do a Silent Siege
1. We will gather beforehand to discuss any insights or specific prayer targets for the day. We will meet at the Coalition for Life house on Carter Creek.
2. A spokesperson will be chosen that can answer questions from passersby of the media. The “Spokesperson” will be marked with a piece of tape on their back. The spokesperson should be a good communicator and familiar with the mission and history of Bound4LIFE. It’s a good idea for them to be well versed about the location being sieged also.
**If you are approached with questions and are not a designated leader, please direct the person to Spokesperson or Siege Leader.
3. Life tape will be passed out to everyone. It is simply the word “LIFE” written in capital letters. Avoid any desire to create extra messages for people to see. The vision is simple and specific.
4. Then we will walk over to the clinic. We will stand side-by-side facing Planned Parenthood. Our bodies will literally form a “wall”. It doesn’t matter how many participate in the siege. We can make a wall out of 100 people or only 2.
5. Start praying! Remember we are not just standing in silence. We are identifying with the preborn that have no voice of their own. We are not relying on having our voice heard by others as a form of protest. Our focus is to be heard in Heaven.
6. We will gather together again after the siege is over. We’ll take a few minutes for anyone to share insights or scripture received during the siege. Then we will take communion together and pray the band prayer together out loud.
“Jesus, I plead Your blood over my sins and the sins of my nation. God, end abortion and send revival to America.”
7. Leave encouraged! Our prayers have been added to all those that have gone before us! Remember the persistent widow (Luke 18:7) and that we are filling bowls in Heaven (Revelation 5:8)
