December is HIV/AIDS Awareness Month and December 1, 2010 is World AIDS Day. In observance of the epidemic, we would like to encourage the staff to participate in the events that myself and the other Community HealthCorps members have planned.

On Wednesday, December 1st we are asking that everyone wear red and a red ribbon that we will be providing that day. Also, in our efforts to raise awareness to our community, we will be supplying you all with ribbons that will be suggested to the patients as they enter/exit the clinic.

Each Wednesday throughout the month, we will be dedicated to raising awareness about the disease, early detection and prevention. This is a group effort and we are so excited to join with you all in the efforts towards healthier patients.

Also, refreshments will be provided in the break room and we hope that you will stop by.
