Thank You for Your Feedback!

Dean’s evaluation survey results have been released.  Though a bit tough to read on the first page the full report is available to you here.  This ERG Update was intended for Friday, May 4, 2012.  However the results of the survey were not available until this morning (5/7).

While by no means a complete review, a couple of items stick out as areas for improvement by your dean.  The two items with the lowest average rating were “Fairly allocates resources to where they are needed.” and “Fairly allocates resources to the different programs.” with 3.83 for both.  I will work to make more transparent the way resources are allocated across the ERG.

The highest average score was for “Promotes teamwork in the school.” at 4.69 (written communication was a tick higher but is not as much of a variable and so was not included).  I will work to keep the activities and processes that contributed to that response a part of ERG practice in future.

In addition to discussing a few elements of these results here, a portion of the back to school meeting in August will be spent examining areas for celebration and opportunities for improvement in this data.

As always if you have comments or suggestions please let me know.

As this is finals week, this marks the last ERG Update of this school year.  The ERG Update will return in August when students do.
