Jenny's Story by Believin Stephen for What I Believe EP

 First Verse

Meet Jenny, every other day eats at Denny's/

Sees the homeless man Lenny and gives more than five pennies/

And Jenny's nice and friendly, and likes to give plenty/

But Lenny uses the many pennies to buy more Henny/

Lenny seems at ease so what else could he need?/

And Jenny feels at peace today she's done her good deed/

Miss popularity, kind and gives to charity/

This is such a rarity, she also speaks with clarity/

Not cruel or rude,  that's unusual/

Always ready to greet she's cute and beautiful/

She's valedictorian and plays the accordian/

Even quotes stories from famous historians/

Bright and dilligent she has perfect attendance/

Quite brilliant, in school her work's tremendous/

Blessed genetics and loves aesthetics/

Highly energetic and excels in athletics/

Jenny runs track, and plays three sports hard/

She hever ever got a B on her report card/

Everyone she knows would definitely call her good/

They say Jenny behaves like all girls should/

HOOK:

This is Jenny's story, This is Jenny's story/

This is Jenny's story, I wrote this for the /

Cats on the streets to the cats on the beats/

To girls in the burbs with peace where they sleep/

Second Verse

One afternoon Jenny's checkin the mail/

And her dreams come true she gets accepted to Yale/

Weeks later a man asks, "Do you need a Savior?"

She replies, "No thanks I don't need any favors.

I'm basically perfect so what's the Saviors purpose?/

I can save myself so that jerk is worthless"/

After graduation Jenny's at a house party/

Music blastin, people dance wit foul bodies/

Kids underage but they drink at the keg/

No one's gettin hurt so they think it's okay/

A boy asks Jenny if she wants to drink Guiness/

"Drink em. You'll be wasted when this things finished !!"

She replies, "No thanks I dont' drink beer/

It smell stinks dear and I like to think clear/

Oh yea, and plus Im the designated driver/

My friends are smokin weed and I think they're gettin higher"/

Wit a lit mindframe,  gettin bent on Friday

Now it's after the party Jenny's on the highway/

A drunks Acura smacks into the back of Jenny's Maxima

Crashing and bashin the Maxima's passengers/

Its a tragic vision, a bad collision/

There's a rack of victims,  Jenny's in a bad condition/

The ambulance rushes  her to to the hospital/

But is it too late have they lost a soul?/

Bridge:

This is Jenny's story,  This is Jenny's story

This is Jenny' storty, This is Jenny' story

In the ER they couldnt save her life/

What makes the story even sadder she never prayed to Christ!!/

3rd Verse

Most of yall probably think that Jenny's in heaven/

Im not into condeming, but how will she get in?/ (she won't)

Without remission of sin there's no forgiveness my friend/

If you fine on the outside, but are wicked within/

Jenny was born a sinner like the whole human race/

Was prideful, had idols, and didn't choose faith/

God requires flawlesness and great perfection/

But we love lawlessness and hate correction/

So why did I write this? You might not like this/

Jesus was the ONLY person ever who was righteous/

None of your peeps not your cousin or your niece (nope)/

Not even Jenny or a nun or a priest/

To take away sins animals wouldn't suffice/

But God's perfect Son bled so let's look to Christ/

And when you stand before God, lists of sins mad long/

He'll see you as blameless even though you lived mad wrong/

Jenny's story was sed and had a sad ending/

I want you to know Christ! That's why I rap brethren/

Cause you can't get to heaven by some decent merits/

But only through belief in Christ, so speak and share it!

2nd Bridge (Repeat twice)

Are you a good person? Are you a good person

Am I a good  person?  Am I a good person?

The Bible says we're not, The Bible says we're not (Romans 3, Ecclesiastes 7:20)

And since the Bible says we're not, we must be blood bought!
