Known Google Calendar Issues: Troubleshooting
You will need to register your email@example.com account on Google to access Google Calendar.
You will receive an e-mail from Google saying that firstname.lastname@example.org has invited you to Google Calendar. In that e-mail, you will see this phrase and a link:
“To accept this invitation and register for an account, please visit: https://www.google.com/calendar/render?[a bunch of random letters and numbers]&invEmailKey=[your email@example.com]:[more random letters and numbers]”
Copy and paste the entire link into your internet browser but remove in “inv” in “&invEmailKey=” so that it now reads:
https://www.google.com/calendar/render?[a bunch of random letters and numbers]&EmailKey=[your firstname.lastname@example.org]:[more random letters and numbers]
Unfortunately, this means you are not using a recent version of your browser. Make sure you run browser updates: http://support.google.com/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=37057
