• Professor Judy Weedman, SJSU, discussed ideas from her paper, “The Practice of Design: Creating Local Vocabularies for Images” (2004).
• Layna White, Head of Collections Information and Access (CIA) at SFMOMA, presented “Hot Data: Providing Access to Contemporary Art”. She discussed issues related to metadata and documentation of still images using examples of works from the SFMOMA collection.
