Mulan, Jr. Updates…

Dear Musical Parents,

Attached to this paper is a paper copy of the final weeks of the musical. Please look over it carefully and double check the rehearsal times on your calendar.

Some musical reminders…

  1. Please have your child bring a sack lunch/snack on the long rehearsal days coming up.
  2. We will be having a pizza party on the Wednesday, May 4th rehearsal. Pizza, drinks, and cookies will only cost $1.00 thanks to a generous donation from Whittington Graphix LLC! If you will be eating pizza, please bring your $1.00 to Mrs. Williams no later than Tuesday, May 2nd. 
  3. Please be advised that Intermediate School behavior expectations apply to the rehearsals at the high school. We will be implementing a “three strikes and you’re out” policy. We will notify you with a note after the second incident. After three incidents, we will call you to pick your child up and he/she will no longer asbe able to participate in the musical.
  4. Also be aware that students with failing grades (F’s) will not be able to participate in the musical. This was indicated in the original parent information handed out and posted on the blog.
  5. We are waiting on costumes and t-shirts orders to come in. We will make sure your child receives his/her costume in time for the musical. T-shirts will be sent home with your child. Costumes will be sorted at school and transported to the High School so that every child has a costume on dress rehearsal nights. We recommend leaving your child’s costume at the High School and taking it home after the final performance on Friday, May 6th. Please make sure your child has his/her black shoes for rehearsal on Tuesday, May 3rd.
  6. Ticket orders are due by May 3rd. Don’t forget to turn them into the office!
  7. Please fill out the cast party permission slip and return it to Mrs. Williams by Tuesday, May 2nd if you are planning on participating.

Mulan, Jr. Cast Party Permission Slip

Who: Entire Mulan Cast

When: Friday, May 6th after the final performance

Where: High School Commons & Gymnasium

Time: 9:00 – 10:30pm

Our Cast Party will begin following the clean-up of the dressing rooms and Performing Arts Center. Students should gather their belongings and bring them to the Commons area. We will provide a taco bar and a small gift for cast members in the Commons. After eating, we will be playing games in the gymnasium.

Parents should pick their child up no later than 10:30pm at the front doors of the High School.

All Intermediate School Rules apply to the cast party!  Please sign the release form below in order for your child to participate in the cast party.
