Ready For Baking, Cotton Apron

Yarn: I used a light worsted, or a dk cotton yarn (not sure what it was).

Hook: C/2-2.75MM

Bottom Section:

(worked top to bottom)

Chain 10.

R1: Hdc in 3rd chain from the hook, 7 hdc across [8 sts].

R2: Ch2, hdc 1 into the same space, 6 hdc into each hdc to the last hdc, 2hdc in last hdc [10 sts].

R3: Ch2, hdc into the same space, 8 hdc into each hdc to the last hdc, 2hdc in last hdc [12 hdc].

R4: Ch2, hdc into the same space, 10 hdc into each hdc to the last hdc, 2hdc in last hdc [14 sts].

R5: Ch2, hdc across.

R6: Ch2, hdc across.

R7: Ch2, hdc across.

Break yarn and weave in.

Top Section:

Refasten yarn to the top part of the apron 2 stitches in, and sc 4 sts (making them center to the 8 stitches below).

R1: Ch1, turn, sc across.

R2: Ch, turn, sc across.

Ch 18.

Cut yarn and fasten to the other side of the top of the apron to make a halter strap around the neck. (Note: You could also add a small button to secure it instead to make it easier to get on and off)

Waist Strap:

Attach your yarn to the top corner of the bottom section.

Ch18.  Cut yarn and fasten to the other corner.

Trim:

With CC yarn, SC evenly around bottom boarder, making sure to do 3sc into each corner. SS along sides, and across top part of the bottom section. Fasten off.
