One with yellow water. In the other blue water, and a clear cup.
- Explain to the children God wants us to know that it is all right to feel happy and all right to fell sad.
- Explain that that happy feelings are like the sun, bright and yellow(show the yellow cup). Then Sad feelings are like the cloud blue (show blue cup). Tell the children that we all have both happy and sad feelings. (Pour a small amount of yellow and blue on the empty cup.) Mix them and we get green the color of grass and trees and other things we see growing outside.
- Pass out activity p. 53.
- Have the children try to identify Lisa and Tom and guess how each feel.
- Ask: Why Liza and Tom feel this way?
