Mike Shoultz

Mr. Shoultz is from Delano, Minnesota. He attended Winona State University, where he became licensed in Physical Education and Coaching. Later Mr. Shoultz returned and also got his MA in Education.

Mr. Shoultz is in his 19th year of teaching. He has taught subjects such as physical education, health, and personal fitness classes. Currently he is running back and forth between the elementary and middle school, teaching physical education. He has coached high school football for 18 years, and high school girls basketball for 18 years.

Mr. Shoultz’s family includes his wife Lori, son Michael, and daughter Kayla.  

Jamie Longstreet

Mr. Longstreet is from Pipestone, Minnesota. He attended Minnesota State University - Mankato and Southwest Minnesota State University, becoming licensed in Physical Education, Health education, and Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE).

Mr. Longstreet is in his 18th year of teaching. He has coached boy’s basketball at the Varsity and JV level for 17 years. Currently he is teaching Physical Education and DAPE at the middle and high school.

Mr. Longstreet’s family includes his wife Julie, and son’s Damon, Treyson (Trey), and Jaren (JJ).

Mitch Rue

Mr. Rue is from Fosston, Minnesota. He attended Concordia College of Moorehead, where he became licensed in Health, Physical Education, and DAPE. He also has his certification in CPR.

This is Mr. Rue’s 15th year teaching. Currently he is teaching 7-12 health and HS physical education. He has coached basketball for 15 years, track and field for eight years, and volleyball for four years.

Mr. Rue’s family includes his wife Rebecca, son Hayden, and daughter Braylee

Maria Menz

Mrs. Menz is from Frazee, Minnesota. She is in her 14th year teaching, all of which have been at Delano. She attended Concordia College of Moorhead, receiving her BA in Health and Physical Education. Later she attended Hamline, where she received her MA in Education.

Currently Mrs. Menz is teaching Health and Physical Education at the high school. She has coached volleyball for four years, and basketball for one year.

Mrs. Menz’s family includes her husband Landon, and daughters Corbyn, and Kennedy.

Kay Pederson

Mrs. Pederson is from Plymouth, Minnesota. She is in her ninth year of teaching. She attended St. Cloud University where she became licensed in Physical Education and DAPE. She later attended St. Kate’s for her Master’s, and then Bethel and Bemidji State University for her Health License. Currently Mrs. Pederson is teaching Physical Education and DAPE at the elementary and middle school.

Mrs. Pederson has coached girl’s varsity track for three years, assistant nordic ski coach for four years, and assistant nordic ski coach at Maple Grove for two years.

Mrs. Pederson’s family includes her husband Jake, daughter Julia, and pet bird Omar.

Sean Roff

Mr. Roff is from Champlin, Minnesota. He attended Bemidji State University where he became licensed in Physical Education, Health Education, and DAPE. This is Mr. Roff’s third year, in which he will be teaching Health Education, Physical Education, and DAPE at the middle school.

Mr. Roff coached soccer and wrestling for three years before teaching. At Delano, he has coached three years of track and field, three years of wrestling, and is currently coaching his fourth year of soccer.

Mr. Roff’s family includes his wife Amanda, son Evan, and daughter Lauren.

Seth Potter

Mr. Potter is from St. Ignatius, Montana. He attended Bemidji State University where he became licensed in Physical Education, Health Education, and DAPE. This is Mr. Potter’s fourth year, in which he will be teaching middle school Physical Education, Health Education, and DAPE.

Mr. Potter coached has coached three years of girl’s basketball, two years of baseball, two years of soccer, and one year of girls tennis.

Mr. Potter and wife Sara currently live in Watertown, Minnesota. 

Justin Lund

Mr. Lund is from Morris, Minnesota. He attended Gusdavis-Adalphus University where he became licensed in Physical Education and Health. Later he picked up his DAPE license at the University of Mankato, as well as his Master’s Degree. This is Mr. Lund’s first year at Delano. He currently is coaching girls basketball at Edina High School.

Mr. Lund currently lives in Shakopee.
