Glasgow – Tuesday 7th & Wednesday 8th September 2010
The jiscLMS Programme Meeting is being held alongside ECDL, which is a conference primarily for computer scientists working in the fields of digital libraries and/or digital asset management. Please note jiscLMS meetings will run all day Tuesday and Wednesday.
ECDL have several talks and social events that will be applicable to the various areas of work for your jiscLMS project, we’d recommend you consider attending the event. However, please note you’ll need to register for any additional days with the conference directly and JISC will not be able to cover the costs for attending the conference beyond the two days of the jiscLMS event.
Day1 Objectives (what are we hoping to achieve by the end of the day...)
1.) Get to know one another and what we are doing in our individual jiscLMS projects.

3.) Achieve clearer definition of the problems spaces and options for how they can be solved.

Day 2 Objectives
By the end of the day, our objective is that
1.) Each expert group has a pragmatic plan and date for when they will convene a community meeting around their problem space (building on the homework!)
2.) A leader is assigned for each expert group who will push forward the community activity
3.) Each project will know how their output (case studies, prototypes) will support the community in which they are participating.
4.) Each project will cross-pollinate ideas across the whole jiscLMS problem space by one-to-one discussion of cross-over of problem areas
