Welcome to the University of Central Missouri!

As a UCM student, you have three sets of ID/passwords:

1.  MyCentral - https://mycentral.ucmo.edu

User Name:  To log in to MyCentral, you will use your student ID number, also referred to as your 700#.

Password:  You should have received a temporary password in an email from the university. If you did not, or you no longer have it, contact the Technology Support Center at 660-543-4357 for a password reset.

2.  Network

You will NOT be able to login to the UCM Secured WiFi, Blackboard, or any networked PCs/Macs on campus, until you have completed a Network Password Change.

User Name:  To find your Network User Name, first login to MyCentral and click on the tab labeled “Network Password Change.” On the right side of the screen toward the bottom, there is a box that says “Change Password for Network ID : abc12340.” The Network ID shown there is your Network ID, which is the User Name for Blackboard, logging into Campus WiFi, and logging into networked computers on campus.  

Password:  In the boxes following “Change Password for Network ID: abc12340”, you will enter a new password and confirm it. Your password MUST be complex in format and follow the rules for complexity listed on the screen.  After you click submit, you will receive a message to please allow approximately 15 minutes for processing.

3.  Google Apps @ UCM - https://mail.ucmo.edu

User Name:  Your Google Apps @ UCM user name is the same as your Network User name.  If you log into your account at mail.ucmo.edu, you will not need to put the “@ucmo.edu” after your user name.

Password:  For your first login, your default password will be the last six digits of your Social Security Number followed by the first five letters of your last name in lower case. If your last name is fewer than five letters, use your entire last name. It should look something like this:  222333smith or 222333poe  If you do not have a Social Security Number, or do not know it, please contact the Technology Support Center for a password reset.

NOTE:  These are separate and unique systems.  Changing your password in one system does not automatically change it for the other systems.
