ART 130: Course Review Write Up
Fall 2010
DUE Monday, December 13
It’s the end of the semester, and I tend to look at classes like software. We roll out the beta, collect user data, and then make adjustments and improvements accordingly. You have been enrolled in Version 2.0 of this course, and I have structured the class as a beginner’s guide to digital literacy and a sampler of sorts for those with little or no prior experience working with multimedia.
Version 3.0 won’t be offered until fall 2011, but in the meantime, we’ll be refining projects, instruction, and equipment in order to give future students the most meaningful and thorough learning experience we can. Your comments can help us do that.
Please take some time write up your impressions of the class. Be sure to include:
- did the class meet your expectations
- were you challenged, and how much; too little or too much
- constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement
- concepts and subjects you were looking for and did or did not see
- technology, tools, or equipment you wish you’d spent more or less time with
- classroom practices that would serve you better
When you’ve finished your Write Up, please share it with me (bencapozzi@mac.com).
Keep in mind that I will be reviewing these and they will NOT BE ANONYMOUS.
The anonymous forms for class analysis and critique will be passed out the final day of class.
