Student: Messaging in Moodle ISU Moodle ISU


You can communicate with teachers and other students via messaging from your Moodle ISU course.

This guide with help you to understand:

Messaging in Moodle ISU

  1. Login to Moodle ISU. For more information, see Student: Accessing Moodle ISU.
  2. In the Navigation block, Click on your course name. A list will appear.
  3. Click Participants.


Note: By choosing this option you will be able to see only the participants in the course you selected.

  1. Now the page will come up with all participant names (students and teachers) of your course.
  2. Click on the desired name.


  1. The new page will come up with the person’s profile.
  2. In the right corner of the page, Click Message.


  1. In the pop-up, Compose your message.
  2. When you are finished, Click Send message.


Note: Clicking View conversation in the bottom left corner will take you to a page that will display all the messages between yourself and the recipient.
