Assignment Policy

• Online Assignments will be due each Tuesday.

• Please get missed assignments and notes from website below.

• Students with an unexpected excused absence will have 2 days to make up their work.  Students absent for scheduled activities/appointments will hand in work the day they return.
• All late work must be marked with the word LATE and the DATE IT WAS HANDED IN.
• Show all late work to me in the classroom before sending it.
• Homework turned in 1 day late will drop a letter grade.
• Homework 2 days late or more will be dropped 2 letter grades.

Materials

 Internet access, loose leaf paper, three ring binder 1.5”, Pencils, Pens, Markers/colored pencils, Spanish/English Dictionary, 3x5 index cards (300) for flashcards.

clear sheet protectors, erasable markers, empty coffee cans, storage bin, gallon sized zip-lock bags

Classroom Expectations

 Respect yourself.

• Be in your assigned seat in camera view when the class begins.
• Be ready.  Have your assignment finished before the bell rings. You must bring all materials every day.
• Participate.  Language is only learned through practice.
• Do your own work.  Do not deny yourself or anyone else the opportunity to learn.  Cheating is defined as copying off the internet (online translators) or intentionally giving or receiving of answers.  Anyone violating this rule will be referred to the office and receive a zero for that assignment.

Respect others.

• Be polite and school appropriate.   Make positive comments, help and encourage your classmates.
• Listen. Anyone who disrupts class or prohibits others from learning will have consequences.
• No candy, pop or other edibles will be allowed in the classroom unless special permission is given.
• Live in the present. No texting.  Give your fellow classmates and your instructor the attention they deserve.

Respect property.

• You will be responsible for your assigned area.  Keep it clean.
• Treat the ITV room with delicacy.  Much funding goes into ITV rooms to provide you with these various learning opportunities.
