Weekly Round Up

This is a regularly updated noticeboard to keep you informed of  what’s gone on in the past week.

Sunday Service was held at Marlborough Road where Rob Anning discussed the many meanings of love, considering all the different types of love that come under the single word in the English language, but have various Greek words.   He compared the Eros love of Valentines day with the Agape love of one for another as friends.

The Tuesday ladies Fellowship had a talk by the painter Trevor Boult who showed his latest paintings and described his love for the Warwickshire countryside.

The Brownies are working towards their cookery badge and so the air was filled with the delicious smell of rock cakes on Tuesday evening.   If you have any wool remnants, they are hoping to make pompoms next week to sell at the Garden Party.

Sunday school next week will be looking at the story of Jesus in the Temple as a Boy.
