Go to a reputable dictionary--"unabridged."  Find relevant (for the purposes of environmental study) definitions of the following terms:  environment, ecology, and nature.  Cite or attach a copy of your source.  Note what you observe about the word, its etymology or its history.  Is the definition what you expected?
