Housing Information for Summer Conferences

   

Wylie Hall

   

Built in 1940, Wylie Hall was the last structure designed by Oxy's original architect, Myron Hunt. The residence hall shows subtle Spanish revival styling, and boasts a convenient lower campus location close to dining, classroom, and meeting facilities.

 

Each guest room is furnished with one dresser, desk, and chair per bed. Beds are California Long Twin size (suitable for one person) unless otherwise noted.

 

Guest rooms have linoleum tile floors. Lobby, lounge areas and hallways are carpeted.

 

Wylie Hall has one lounge area which is  furnished with many easy chairs and sofas.  Laundry facilities are located in the lower level.

 

Wylie Hall is equipped with air conditioning in all rooms; room settings are controlled individually.

 

Smoking is prohibited in all facilities, including residence halls, at Occidental College.
