Saveur.com and GardenDesign.com are looking for editorial interns for summer 2011.

Interns work with the close-knit web team that runs both sites; they attend editorial and design meetings, becoming intimate with all aspects of web production. Interns have the opportunity to research and write bylined stories for the web, report and shoot photo and video on location, connect with well-known people in the culinary and design world, as well as attend parties, tastings, and events.

This internship is unpaid.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Write/edit content for both sites

Help create comprehensive editorial packages

Brainstorm compelling interactive features

Create/edit thematic galleries

Build and upload magazine content

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to work in NYC office 2 or 3 full days/week

Knowledge of and passion for food and design

Love for online content and food blogging

Ability to learn proprietary CMS

Comfort with Google Docs

Video and photo skills a big plus
