Gardening Lesson with E-Pals setting up communication
Teachers:
- teacher would explain to students that we will be contacting children in another country to help us learn about gardening all over the world
- teacher will set up email communication with our e-pals at the beginning of the project
Students: To establish communication with our e-pals and to ask them the following questions: .
Questions for E-Pals:
- What continent and/or country are they located in?
- What is their weather and or climate like?
- What kind of crops grow where they live?
- What kind of plants grow in your backyard?
- Do you have a garden and what grows there?
Students: Will share the same information with our e-pals as to the questions we ask them.
Teachers:
- Once we have the answers to our questions we will find on the map where our e-pals are from including: finding their continent, country and the Longitude and Latitude lines
- We will then do some research together about the climate in their region

- The differences in climate
- The differences in crops
- The differences in land structure
