WAVE

Wave is a spreading vibration that bring energy from one place to other place.

• 1 wave is consist of one crest and one trough  or one compression and one rarefaction.

Based on direction of vibration and direction of travel, wave divided into 2, they are : transverse wave and longitudinal wave.

 Properties of transverse wave :

1. consist of crest and trough.
2. The direction of vibration is perpendicular with the direction of travel.

Properties of longitudinal wave :

1. Consist of compression and rarefaction.
2. The direction of vibration same with the direction of travel.

There are some quantities in wave, such as :

1. wave length                 : the length of one wave                                                                                                                                                   
2. Period                  : time that required to make one wave.
3. Frequency                : sum of wave that can happen in one second.

4)  Wave velocity        : distance that traveled by wave
