Schedule Your Group Visit

If you are a college or university group within the DFW Metroplex, call 214-922-1331 or e-mail tours@DallasMuseumofArt.org to request a date for your group visit. Please note that all visits must be scheduled a minimum of three weeks in advance in order to ensure free general admission.

If you are a college or university group from outside the Metroplex, contact our Group Sales Office at 214-922-1222 or groupsales@DallasMuseumofArt.org.

                    

Docent-Guided Visits

Docent-guided visits provide college and university groups with the opportunity to connect with works of art through careful looking and group discussion. Docent-guided visits include the collections and/or special exhibitions, and can be customized to meet your group's area of interest. Led by trained volunteers, tours last one hour and are free of charge for university student groups in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Docent-guided visits are available Tuesday-Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Professors may also schedule docent-guided tours during Museum hours on Thursday evenings and on weekends.

Docent-guided tours are available for all areas of the Museum's collections, as well as the following special exhibitions:

Self-Guided Visits

Professors and instructors can also schedule self-guided visits for independent exploration of the Museum's galleries. Self-guided visits are available during regular Museum hours only: Tuesday-Sunday, 11-5; Thursday, 11-9; closed Mondays.Resources

Students with a valid school ID receive FREE general admission on Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Tuesday and Wednesday: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Thursday: 11:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.

Friday*, Saturday, and Sunday: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Closed Mondays

* On Late Night Fridays (third Friday of the month, excluding December), the Museum is open until midnight.

 

General Admission: $10 or less every day

The general admission fee includes viewing the Museum’s collections galleries and most exhibitions. An audio tour of the collections is included in general admission. Audio tours for adults and families are available.

Senior citizens (65 and over) and military personnel* $7

Students $5*

Children under 12 Free

* with current ID

FREE First Tuesday of each month (separate ticket prices may apply to special exhibitions)

Combination Tickets with the Nasher Sculpture Center

Discounted joint tickets are available for purchase at Visitor Services that include admission to the Nasher Sculpture Center.
