Eat Out: Be Wise!
Objectives:
1) Analyze the nutritional values of selected foods.
2) Compare and contrast food offerings at different restaurants.
McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell, Subway, Wendy's, KFC, Pizza Hut
3) Discuss ways to make choices more healthful when eating out.
4) Identify restaurants offering more healthful food choices
5) Show willingness to select healthful food choices at restaurants.
Responsibilities:
1) Go to restaurant website and review the menu and nutritional facts.
2) Select a meal and analyze the selection.
3) After choosing a meal consider a more healthful selection.
4) Conclude by analyzing the selection, and getting feedback from a friend.
5) Consult other group members and prepare a 5-10 minute power point presentation on the restaurant and their food options; healthy and unhealthy choices. You must use Google docs
6) Individual Meal of Choice, Make it healthy, personal reflection, friend or family member reaction.
