CDA Consolidation Project Consolidation Project Timeline

• 4/4: Review draft of publication, ballot submission review

• 4/8: HL7 Ballot Submission

3/29 Harmonization Workgroup Meeting

• The comment period for Harmonization Analysis concluded on 3/28, although the HL7 ballot process provides a 30-day period to solicit further comments on the consolidated IG for ballot

• The Harmonization analysis is available for review on the Wiki

3/30 Documentation Workgroup Meeting

• The Documentation WG discussed the tabular format for the consolidated IG

• A proposal for non-consolidated templates was discussed by the Documentation WG

Transition of Care Initiative Key Dates

• 4/6: Meeting to resolve any outstanding issues. Consensus voting closes.

• 4/8: Final UC package delivered

Use Case & Requirements Workgroup Meeting 3/30

• Scenario 1 & Scenario 2 Update

o Verbal consensus achieved on both scenarios

• Use Case Diagram SWG Update

o Verbal consensus achieved

• Virtual Care Planning SWG is continuing.

o The simplification matrix has been updated, Frieda Hall provided mapping of lab

message data elements to the baseline CCR/CCD sections and data elements. Not much overlap o Need volunteers to compare sections and data elements from Consolidation initiative to

existing CCD/CCR
