Fanfiction- a fictional account written by a fan of a show, movie, book, or video game to explore themes and ideas that will not or cannot be explored via the originating medium.

Now that we have explored the basic mythology surrounding King Arthur, you have an opportunity to enter this world of heroes, monsters, magic, and quests.  I have created at fanfiction site, for original tales/characters contributing to the world of Camelot, using wikispaces.  

Your task is to create a character that is a part of this universe, and flesh them out as completely as possible.  This world is wide open to you.  You may choose to create a knight, a peasant, a romantic interest, an enemy, a villain, a monster, or anything else that might appropriately fit the world of Arthur and Camelot.  

You must then create a detailed bio for your character including name, profession, family, social status, what is important to you, important things that you have experienced, etc.  Think about what facebook asks.  You also must design the layout of the page including an image of your character.

After completing the bio, you must contribute to the storytelling part of the mythology.  You have to create an original story that will be a part of the mythology of Camelot.  It must be either from the perspective of your character or be about them.  You can include major characters from the mythology as you like, but your portrayals must not conflict with the portrayal of these characters in the mythology.  The style of your story is up to you.  For example, you can have it dialogue-driven, narrator-driven, or write it in verse as a poem.  Your story MUST reflect your knowledge of both the genre and the accepted mythology.  Your story will be included on your wiki page.
