EXPLORATION TEAM

You are going to begin an exciting adventure!!  You are the Smartest Scientists we have and we need all five research teams to figure out how to help these poor animals adapt to their “new” environments.  As you all know, these animals were taken from their habitat from “The Evil Scientist” and the only way to help them survive is to identify ways they can adapt to live in their “new” environment.  “The Evil Scientist” believes that he is the only one that can help them and when we give him what he wants (100 billion dollars), he will give us the information.  Since we don’t have that much money and we can’t move the animals to their natural surroundings, we need your help.  We are relying on our super smart science teams to solve these problems.  Good luck!!  We are all counting on you!!!

Things you will need to research and write a report on (complete web first):

  1. The natural habitat your animal lives in.
  2. The natural climate it lives in.
  3. What your animal eats to survive.
  4. What your animal looks like.
  5. Does it live with other animals of the same species or does it live alone?

Things your team will need to plan and write a report on (complete web first):

  1. How can your animal adapt to the “new” habitat?
  2. How will it adapt to the climate?
  3. What will your animal eat?
  4. Will its appearance change?
  5. Can it survive alone?

Things you will need to show (pictures or drawings):

BEFORE your animal was placed in a “new” environment:

  1. A picture of your animal’s natural environment.
  2. Picture of what it naturally eats.
  3. Picture of what your animal looks like in its natural environment.

AFTER your animal was placed in a “new” environment:

  1. A picture of your animal’s new environment that “The Evil Scientist” put it in.
  2. Picture of what it will eat there.
  3. Picture of what your animal looks like in the “new” environment.
