- Direct is when it is directly told
- Indirect is when it is found by one’s self.

- 3 types, protagonist or main character, antagonist is the villain, subordinate characters which are characters who play important roles but do not tie into the plot.

- Flat character is a character with only one or two character traits
- Round character is a character with many different character traits

- Dynamic character is a character who changes throughout the story.
- Static character is a character who does not change much throughout the story.
