Art Club

Art Club is a great way to meet new people and spend time with other students at RMS who love making art! Students may choose to work on independent projects which align with their personal artistic goals and interests. Specific projects will also be available for students who would like to have a guided activity to work on. Students must fill out an application to be considered for Art Club.

Club dues are $30 for the year and go toward project supplies and other club activities.

Every other Wednesday after school until 3:45 PM

Cross Country

Belinda Flanders

Students will participate in local cross country races; running a 5k (3..1 miles) each race. Students will build endurance and strength during weekly practices.

Cyber Patriot

Beth Norton

Students participate in a series of capture the flag events playing the role of a network administrator.

$45 covers the registration fee to Cyber Patriot and includes a t-shirt and other swag.

Mostly first semester. Sessions are held during the school day.

Drama Club

Students will put on two productions, one in December one in April.   Students will audition for the speaking roles.  There are also opportunities for those students who desire to work crew only.  

$45 dues each semester.  Dues include a show shirt as well as licensing fees and backdrops, props and costumes

Monday and Wednesday from 2:40PM-4:15 PM

Technology/ Robotics Club

Students will explore technology through robotics and other tech-oriented activities. More than anything this club is a great way for like-minded techies to meet up and interact.

Dues are $45 for the year and go toward supplies and resources for club activities.

1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month, after dismissal until 3:30 PM. Rides should be here PROMPTLY.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

FCA is a student-led club, organized by a Student Leadership Team (SLT). Athletes must apply to be considered for the SLT.. FCA is a community working to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. We desire to see every coach and athlete enter into a growing relationship with Christ and His Church. We seek to make disciples through our strategy of engaging, equipping, and empowering coaches and athletes to grow in Christ and lead others to do the same. Involvement in athletics is not required to join FCA.

Club dues of $20 payable on RevTrak go towards club activities, prizes, and includes a club t-shirt.

Twice monthly in Learning Commons:

1st Friday morning 7:00-7:25 AM

& 3rd Friday afternoon 2:30-3:15 PM. FCA Student Leadership Team meets weekly on Wednesday mornings from 7:00-7:25 AM to plan huddle meetings.

Junior Model United Nations

(JMUN)

JMUN is a junior version of Model United Nations. It is designed for Middle School students.

The purpose of JMUN is to improve student’s writing and speaking skills, to equip students with useful skills to discuss world issues on peace, civil war, hunger, economic issues etc., and to prepare students as future delegates at the JMUN conference at Augusta University.

Club dues are $60 payable on RevTrak.  The dues pay for the conference in March.

Every other Tuesday after school until 3:15.  We will meet more often in the spring.

Yearbook

Belinda Flanders

Yearbook will teach you skills in business, graphic design, visual communication, writing, photography and collaborative relationships.  Students will have to work remotely while working towards specific deadlines.

First Thursday of every month.
