Welcome to the 10th edition of the
Triangle Adventure by Azores Trail Run®
Azores Triangle Adventure by Azores Trail Run® is a 3 stage trail running race that will take you to the most emblematic landscapes of the three islands of the nine volcanic islands based in the mid-Atlantic that form the Azores archipelago.
The Azorean Triangle islands are São Jorge Island, Pico Island, and Faial Island. The runners will run 90 kilometers during the oldest and largest staged trail running event in the Azores archipelago.
We hope this will be an unforgettable race in your memories. We've worked hard to make it happen. We want you to have fun, excel, and enjoy the best the Azores have to offer and the company of each other. The trail is a party, and this one is just getting started!

IMPORTANT:
1) Pay attention to the boat transfer schedule. If you miss the boat, you will undoubtedly miss the race.
2) Regularly check out your email, the Triangle Adventure Facebook Page, and the website to follow any information regarding logistics regulations.
3) The routes, programs, and rules may change due to weather conditions.
*The program can be edited, changed, or improvised at any time by the organization entity without prior notice.
The organization with Atlânticoline provides the ferry transfer between the islands for all the runners (followers can buy boat tickets at www.atlanticoline.pt). All the ferries depart from each island's Maritime Terminals location (Horta, Faial, Madalena, Pico, and Velas, São Jorge).
The boat tickets will be delivered to you with your BIB. Please don’t forget to take them with you on the trips and that you will need to present your ID for boarding.
In October, the ocean can be tricky. So, if you get sick easily on boat trips, take preventive measures before boarding.
FAQ’S:
Participants in the Azores Triangle Adventure (3 stages) must deliver their travel luggage to the organization's van before boarding the boat, which will be at the Maritime Terminal of each island. Check the van locations below. Luggage will be returned to the central location defined for each day. |
Can I take a small bag with me to the race? Of course! The organization allows you, at every stage, to carry a small change bag (dropbag) with you and it will be waiting for you at the finish line. In order to mark your bag, the organization will give you a label that you must place on it and proceed with its delivery. In the end, just show your race bib! |

It is increasingly vital for the organization to establish itself as an environmentally friendly event. To this end, we have been reducing our plastic consumption by almost 95% by using reusable markers and by joining the BYOU program - "Bring Your Utensils," As part of this program, the organization will not distribute disposable cutlery, cups, or bowls at the refueling stations, inviting athletes to bring their utensils.
