NEXT MONTH WE'LL BE STARTING A MONTHLY CONTEST FOR THE BEST IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS ON A GIVEN SUBJECT AND THE 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD PLACE WINNERS (CHOSEN AFTER THE END OF THE MONTH) WILL GET $10, $6, AND $4 AMAZON GIFT CARDS RESPECTIVELY. DETAILS BELOW.

WHAT: Starting in September, 2023, we'll have a new monthly contest, with prizes for the winners of each monthly subject:

1st place: $10 gift card
2nd place: $6 gift card
3rd place: $4 gift card

WHEN: Here are the monthly subjects and corresponding hashtags to use (so that we can find them when it's time to choose the winners):

HOW: People who want to participate will post their idea on that subject as a NEW post in this "Gathering Freedom Haven ..." group using the correct hashtag. That's it!

You can submit multiple ideas, but no spamming please. Extra kudos will be given for those providing additional useful details beyond just a high level subject area.
People will have all month to post ideas on that month's subject and everyone can reply the the post with a discussion of the merits of the posted ideas.
During the following month's monthly Freedom Haven meeting (the 1st Saturday of each month over zoom at 1pm central time zone (CDT or UTC-5), which is 6pm UTC time), those present will vote on the submissions and the resulting winners will be announced to the group in a post.

The winners will have 1 week to provide their email address to the committee and, using the marketing funds donated to this project, they'll get an Amazon e-card emailed to them (gift cards from other businesses could also be considered if needed).

We’ve had more success in the last year with in-person events than with online events, so that will be our focus going forward. If you would like to have an online event sometime, please let us know.

“Does moving to Freedom Haven mean I can abandon my debt?”

In Freedom Haven, the only things that are illegal are killing, kidnapping (et al.), and theft (et al.), beyond the minimum needed for self-defense against murderers, kidnappers, and thieves.

If someone can prove in a Freedom Haven court that you stole from someone else, then you might be found guilty and be required to fix what you broke otherwise risk being banished.

The important question is whether this was a debt you consented to go into or not. A government seeking taxes or fines (that you never consented to) might not be upheld in Freedom Haven courts, but the house mortgage you voluntarily contractually entered into might (if the prosecution can prove your consent).

Monthly Freedom Haven constitution section mini-overview

The Preamble of Freedom Haven Constitution:
We the individual People, in order to secure the human right to defend ourselves, to limit the scope of Government, and to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, so that we can have the chance to learn, grow, and work towards achieving our greatest individual divine potentials (so that through our efforts, and without compulsory means, prosperity may flow unto us forever and ever), do ordain and establish this Constitution for the Provinces that form the Country of Freedom Haven.

EXTRADITION

EXTRADITION is capturing an individual and sending them to a foreign Government to answer for crimes against that foreign Government that are not also crimes against the laws of Freedom Haven.
