Show Rules:

Exhibitors wishing to enter must bring in entries between 3:45 pm and 5:00

pm. No late entries will be accepted. You must be a member of the

Bobcaygeon and District Horticultural Society to exhibit in the flower show.

Exhibitors must supply their own containers\vases.

Exhibitor may enter up to 2 different cultivars in the Cultural Division 1,

Sections A. Please name the cultivar if known.

Design Division allows only 1 entry per class by individual exhibitor.

Judging starts promptly at 5 pm. Judge’s decision is final.

Reception and viewing will follow the General Meeting.

Awards: Best Rose, Best Floral Design, Best Novice Design and Judges

Prizes: $10 each for Awards in:

Red Rose Award, Pink Rose Award, Best Rose, Best Floral Design, Best

Novice Design, Judge’s Choice as well as most points accumulated by an

exhibitor (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

Division 1 - Cultural

Section A - Cut Specimens (Roses to be named if possible)

1. Rosa, hybrid tea - red - 1 bloom (Red Rose award)

2. Rosa, hybrid tea - pink - 1 bloom (Joan Dunham Pink Rose Award)

3. Rosa - Modern Shrub – pink blend – 1 bloom or 1 spray

4. Rosa - Modern Shrub – red blend – 1 bloom or 1 spray

5. Rosa – Modern Shrub – yellow, orange or orange yellow blend – 1 bloom or 1 spray

6. Rosa - Modern Shrub - white or white blend - 1 bloom or spray

7. Rosa - Old Garden - any variety - 1 spray

8. Rosa - mini Flora (patio)- 1 bloom or 1 spray any colour

9. Rosa - miniature - 1 bloom or 1 spray, any colour

10. Rosa- any specimen – 1 bloom, fully open floating in water

11. Rosa – Rosa – grown for fragrance – 1 bloom
