The Future of CatLii

The future of CatLii is rocky, nobody really knows where this project is going to go. This project started as a fun little thing but nowadays it’s more of a burden than an actual useful website. If I'm being honest I don’t see CatLii having a successful future, if it even has a future. Despite only being in a functional state for a few days when it is working, CatLii has earned itself a reputation that is not one to be proud of. Many false accusations have been made towards the site, including that we made our users information (email, password & IP) public, that has never been true. CatLii has always been dismissed as a serious site due to the staff’s history. As of now the team consists of the original founding team: Crackle, Fuki, epic52, YTPMaker & blindle-moneyes. We have gotten Fuki back on the team so hopefully we can get the VidLii source code working, but between many people disliking the site and server problems CatLii’s future doesn’t look very good.
