1.

President’s Report

Sandra

March 13 is Declaration deadline

Season starts April 9th

Our main concern is the girls – unclear how many

teams we will have – need 10 to register a team

Tight tiering was discussed, you can do that, but only

  within your own association

What you can do is balance the teams, you must have

A/B/C

Port Moody is introducing a no tolerance policy

for official absue. Each team will sit down and provide a

an identified person, that person will be responsible

to card attendees not in compliance

 The system is progressive

The next year they identify the problem

The third year start actioning issues

Sandra sent volunteer email to all

We must be aware of how we speak to folks and

ensure you give appropriate information. Refer

questions appropriately within the Operating Policy

3.

from coach feedback

Most divisions strong start.

Give discounts on registration for bring a friend? If

Yes to who? Throughout the season we should do

A Langley thunder fun night – education/culture.

Parades? Malls? Events  - Langley lacrosse day.

Team Gear – have a meeting with a potential vendor

on Wednesday evening – they came to us and said

they would carry 5 – 10 items of Thunderwear year

round. Do we want

To do a licensing agreement? Have them mark up our

Gear? A morph of both?

They have also brought an interest for sponsorship

They want to funnel lacrosse traffic.

3 sponsors on the table   that we are considering
