Where: We will ride the bus and rehearse at Lakewood High School’s Civic Auditorium.

Evening Concert Information

 Follow the procedure below that applies to you:    (Circle One)

Arrive between 6:20-6:25 (Door 35 left of Johnny Appleseed)

 Arrive at 6:35 (Door 35 left of Johnny Appleseed)

 Pack up your instrument in the civic

 Pack up your instrument in the civic

Move your instrument and things to the Black Box Theater

Move all of your things to the Black Box Theater

Go to the Choir Room to warm up with Mrs. Blasko by 6:30

Report to the stage with all you need to perform

Get your instrument and materials (binder, shoulder rest, rock stop, bow, etc.) and meet orchestra on the stage

Perform on Stage with Orchestra. Then …

Place instrument in blackbox. Go to choir risers and perform. Sit with choir to watch the band.

Sit with the orchestra to watch choir and band perform

Collect all of your things from the Black Box. TAKE YOUR Violin,Viola, Cello, or Bass HOME.

Meet your adult at your meet-up spot (ex. in the lobby, by the stage)

Student Rehearsal Expectations:

Any indication in the classroom that a student would not display this behavior at the rehearsal will result in the student remaining at the school and missing the rehearsal. Even if a student is not permitted to go to the rehearsal, they still are required to attend the performance that evening.

Student Concert Expectations:

It is important that every child has a person in the audience supporting them.  If you are unable to pay the ticket price, please contact us and we will make arrangements.

Concert Attire:

This is a semi-formal concert. Please do not wear sneakers or sweatpants. If you own more than one pair of black pants (or shoes or shirts) please choose the nicest pair to wear to the concert. NO SKIRTS for orchestra performances.
