Utah law requires a retail licensee to follow age verification guidance authorized by the ABS Commission.  Retail licensees shall comply with the requirements found in Utah Code Sections 32B-1-401, 32B-1-404, 32B-1-405, 32B-1-407 and 32B-4-411,  and in Utah Administrative Rule R82-4-101

VALID FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION SHALL BE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING - NO EXCEPTIONS:

A valid identification must have an affixed photo matching individual presenting the ID, have an expiration date, and a date of birth.
