Size and appearance

Pandas skin colour goes from pink to white to black and sometimes brown. A panda has different coloured eyes than other bears.  Adult pandas get up to 1.2-1.9 m tall.

Habitat and lifestyle

Pandas live in rainforests in southwest China.  Pandas are very good climbers on trees also spend  most of their day eating. Pandas can live for  about 20 years. Pandas can have 6 babies in their lifetime. Pandas sleep for 2-3 hours each day.

Diet and eating

An adult panda can eat 12-38 kilos of bamboo per day.

Pandas are very big eaters. Everyday they  fill their tummies for up to 12 hours. They eat 12  kilograms of bamboo per day.
