This Privacy Policy ("Data Agreement") between the user ("you") and ACTIVEOBD.COM ("we") covers the terms in which we collect, hold and use the data with the background data-collection service within the application.

              1. Information we may collect

              Categories of data we may collect:

              - info items (sensors) data read from the vehicle ECU/TCU in real-time;

              - list of supported features of the vehicle ECU/TCU;

              - OBD adapter version and manufacturer;

              - version (revision) numbers of the vehicle ECU/TCU software;

              - vehicle model/year information from the profile set by user;

              - in-app purchase status;

              - device country setting.

              We do NOT collect any unique identifiers such as vehicle VIN code, or any similar information that may deanonymize the user with the help of third-party databases. We do NOT collect GPS coordinates.

              2. How the information is hold

              The data is collected and stored on the user device, then uploaded to our server and deleted from the user device.

              The data from the same user is identified with a randomly generated UUID number, stored in the app private data. This UUID is being wiped out on the application removing, reinstalling or clearing the application data.

3. For which purpose the data is collected

              The data collected is used for the following purposes:

              - compatibility analysis of certain vehicles and OBD adapters. We may use this information to notify users about compatibility issues;

              - discover patterns in large data sets involving methods at the intersection of machine learning, statistics, and database systems.

              4. Legal rights and intellectual property

              The user can terminate the Data Agreement at any time by reinstalling or removing the application, however, any data collected or processed before the moment of such a termination will be covered by the Data Agreement previously accepted.

              The user explicitly agrees that all the data collected, stored and processed, as well as any product of such a processing is the exclusive intellectual property of us (ACTIVEOBD.COM).
